These adjectives are commonly used to market recording hardware and software. But because they’re broad and subjective, they don’t really mean anything – or rather, they all mean the same thing – this will make your music sound good.
Advertising is filled with this shit – meaningless words that are used to make you want whatever it is they’re selling.
How do you describe the drum/guitar/vocal sound on a favorite record? Words are a poor choice. But I get it – they’re all we have. It’s just good to remind yourself you’re being manipulated. When it comes to sound, you know those two floppy things on the side of your head?
Use those to make your final judgement.
