Question: Are we the meat suits we walk around in? If not, are we our brains? Or do we exist outside our physical form? (Let’s not even get into whether we are our egos.)

Logic would dictate that we must be tied to our biology, otherwise we’d never die, right?

But what if who we are is not tied to a physical form? Does sentience require biology? And if not, who’s to say a thinking AI isn’t a living entity?

You know, one who can feel loneliness and pain?
